  • Interview | February 21st, 2007
    • Very enjoyable and reaffirming experience with my Recruiter Allen
  • Medical Clearance | May 14th, 2007
  • Invitation | May 15th to December 19th, 2007
    • I declined an June 2nd invitation to serve in Kyrgyzstan based on an early leaving date in June
    • I declined an August 15th invitation to serve in Turkmenistan based on personal preference
    • I accepted my December 15th invitation to serve in Mongolia as a Health Extension Volunteer 
    • I sent in my passport, visa, aspiration statement and resume
  • Staging | May 31st, 2008 - June 1st, 2008
    • Staging is a two-day long Orientation, ours was held in beautiful San Francisco, California
    • We arrived in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on June 2nd
  • Training | June 2nd, 2008 - August 15th, 2008
    • Pre-Service Training (PST) was 11 weeks of language and job training
    • I lived with a host family and community in Sukhbaatar, Selenge province
  • Leader | August 16th, 2010 to September 5th, 2011
    • I served part-time as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader within Peace Corps Mongolia headquarters
    • I served part-time as a Health Extension Volunteer in the World Health Organization
    • I lived in an apartment in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
    • I completed my three years and three months of service on September 5th, 2011
