Peace Corps Mongolia is one of the countries lucky enough to have Peace Corps Volunteer Leaders (PCVLs) chosen each year to serve in the post headquarters as liaisons between the Peace Corps Volunteers and the Peace Corps Staff. Our duties include:
| I am currently serving as a PCVL in Mongolia from 2010 until 2011. It is a great honor to serve the current and incoming Volunteers as well as the Peace Corps Staff and I have really loved it every day since I started in the Summer of 2010. Thank you to all of the former PCVLs I asked and continue to ask for advice and how we can help Peace Corps Mongolia Volunteers and Staff as much as possible. | All PCVLs work part-time in the headquarters and part-time with organizations in their sector. I am currently working with the World Health Organization and also other organizations like the Mongolian Scouting Association. Working with these organizations is incredible and offers me a unique chance to do a lot of good for the Mongolian people and also do a lot of good for the Peace Corps Volunteers serving in Mongolia as well. |
